Halloween 2012

So my dear Kate threw a little soiree for Halloween, here are a few snapshots from the evening. My original plan was to go as Cruella Deville, which failed miserably mid-spray during my attempt to mimic her hair..

Overall I had a wonderful time and am glad I went. Originally, I'd had the best friend blues and was bummed about two of my closest dears not even being in the state, I wasn't even sure if I was going to do anything for Halloween. Alas I told myself to suck it up and stop being a wet blanket, I grabbed Shane, whom I somehow managed to not get one photo with, and we slinked out into the night. Despite the costume fail it was still a ball and here is the proof to show it.

Balmain S/S 2012

So, I was slightly nervous a few seasons back when I heard Christophe Decarin would no longer be a part of Balmain, but this collection has finally set me at ease. I have nothing to be nervous about. I'm in love with the patterns and textures, my only question is, where was Freja?

I am so excited to share that my first beauty editorial (ever!) is in this month's issue of Z!NK Magazine. Never did I think when I used to flip through the pages of previous issues and glance at the models that I would some day be one of them. Update!

I know I've been really naughty and not updating like I should. Shame shame on me. I've been really busy with starting two new jobs and trying to keep up with my personal projects and sleep! I have some really exciting news to share coming up on the fourteenth along with updates of my room makeover, new illustrations, buys and photos! Can't wait to share and thank you all for reading!

Portafolio Winter 2011; Cover story "Fire and Ice"

I really have no words for this, to sum up how excited I am about it. So much thanks to Elena Jasic for making this possible for me. I would never have had the opportunity to not only be in Portafolio's first anniversary issue let alone on the cover. Also thanks to Eliza Davila, and my dear Christopher for helping me through the day. This wouldn't have been possible without all of you! Chris took these two photos of me the other day after I left work early. I haven't been feeling well the past couple months, unfortunately. After a trip to the emergency room I was told that my only problem was anxiety. After two blood tests, one EKG, another heart test that I can't even remember the name of and wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours I have been told that all my test came back great. There is nothing physically wrong with me, which I was ecstatic to hear. But enough about that and back to the photos.. they have to be a few of my favorites that I have had taken of me. Oh.. and on another note Chris and I were informed that the litter of piglets that we are picking one from was born Monday! We can't wait to pick him up.
